For a 10k gold filled product finish is not to good. Chain loop to small for chain purchased and chain length 2 inches to short. Overall design of product good as well as engraving. Had to take product to jewelers to have chain loop replaced with a larger one.

In addition to the Dog Tag, I also purchased a bracelet, which turned out to be too small (my own misjudgement in size)
When I discovered the size problem upon receiving my orders, I called American Medical ID. With prompt and friendly service, the young lady said for issues like this they could mail additional links to be added to the bracelet. My links arrived in approx. 7-10 days.

My first purchase was a silver braclet, very happy with it, I bought the stainless steel dog chain with it. Didn ’t match well so my second purchase was the Silver dog Tag. Chain was to thin, so my third pruchase I bought the heavy link chain dog tag. The chain is very nice, the tag is pitted and tarnished after wearing for a week.. The tag does not seem to be sterling silver.

My doctor was pleased with the information I had printed on the tag. The information was printed correctly. Although, I received what I ordered I was not happy that the sterling silver had a brushed finish. I prefer the shine of sterling silver. I wear a lot of sterling jewelry and the
shine is the reason. A dull finish is not what I want. The fact that I have type II Diabetes does not effect my preference for the shiny finish of sterling silver jewelry. The chain is beautifully shny.

I love it
the worst part was the fact that my wrist is only 5 inches and I really wanted titanium so I had to go to a jeweler here to get them to help me get it ti fit me because you did not have any titanium to fit my wrist. My wrist is so small anyway that it would have taken a special order from you amyway.
But, it is great and I do love it.
I also like the sport bracelet which was half off. Unfortunately I put the wrong phone number on it so it was not done right because of my own fault.
So all in all your product and service is great, the problems I speak of are my wrist size and wrong phone number.

My first purchase was a silver braclet, very happy with it, I bought the stainless steel dog chain with it. Didn ’t match well so my second purchase was the Silver dog Tag. Chain was to thin, so my third pruchase I bought the heavy link chain dog tag. The chain is very nice, the tag is pitted and tarnished after wearing for a week.. The tag does not seem to be sterling silver.

My doctor was pleased with the information I had printed on the tag. The information was printed correctly. Although, I received what I ordered I was not happy that the sterling silver had a brushed finish. I prefer the shine of sterling silver. I wear a lot of sterling jewelry and the
shine is the reason. A dull finish is not what I want. The fact that I have type II Diabetes does not effect my preference for the shiny finish of sterling silver jewelry. The chain is beautifully shny.

My first purchase was a silver braclet, very happy with it, I bought the stainless steel dog chain with it. Didn ’t match well so my second purchase was the Silver dog Tag. Chain was to thin, so my third pruchase I bought the heavy link chain dog tag. The chain is very nice, the tag is pitted and tarnished after wearing for a week.. The tag does not seem to be sterling silver.

The medical alert (dog tag) was perfect for my modest father. Once I gave it to him, he accepted and wore it proudly. I explained how the USB worked. It was the right gift for him. We had had trouble convincing him to wear a braclet or neckles, once I found this one on the internet, I knew it was prefect for him. I started to get the type for his key chain, but this dog tag was the best choice.

My doctor was pleased with the information I had printed on the tag. The information was printed correctly. Although, I received what I ordered I was not happy that the sterling silver had a brushed finish. I prefer the shine of sterling silver. I wear a lot of sterling jewelry and the
shine is the reason. A dull finish is not what I want. The fact that I have type II Diabetes does not effect my preference for the shiny finish of sterling silver jewelry. The chain is beautifully shny.

Pleased with the Sivler Dog Tag. The engraving appears to be very shallow and my concern is that over time it will wear off. I will hope for the best and assume that the engraving will sustain over time.

I love it
the worst part was the fact that my wrist is only 5 inches and I really wanted titanium so I had to go to a jeweler here to get them to help me get it ti fit me because you did not have any titanium to fit my wrist. My wrist is so small anyway that it would have taken a special order from you amyway.
But, it is great and I do love it.
I also like the sport bracelet which was half off. Unfortunately I put the wrong phone number on it so it was not done right because of my own fault.
So all in all your product and service is great, the problems I speak of are my wrist size and wrong phone number.

Solid, quality item. It would be good if you offered an ideal USB or SD disk to compliment your line and make it easy to have medical records portable. I searched and found a durable, water resistant 16 GB USB drive that I plan on holding all of my medical records and wear it on my dog tag chain. I don’t even have to take it off to shower.

The dogtag is fine but the e-med usb dongle needs a click-lock to prevent it from rotating when hanging around the neck, thereby protecting the smart end and the wearer from sharp edges.

The Dog Tag is too heavy. I thought that it would not be noticable in a month or so but, unfortunatley that is not the case.
I previously had the smaller stop sign shaped ID and that seemed to have a lighter weight , possibly even a lighter chain.
I appreciate your follow up.
The extra space for medical info is great, the weight is not.

I like it. Previously purchased a sterling silver necklace but the charm tarnishes too easily and so one cannot read the engraving unless polished. I purchased this dog tag to replace the silver one. I had originally feared the dog tag would be to heavy to wear but it’s very comfortable and suits me well.

I was a bit disappointed. The lettering is not real visible, you have to have it in just the right light to see the letters and there was a scratch on the front of the tag. The necklace did not have a strong clasp wich I was very upset about as I spent close to 100.00 on the (2) products.

The young lady who took my order via phone was great Asking questions for me to make decisions i hadn ’t thought of. The engraver? also great. I worried the lines would run together; he turned the tag sideways and it ’s perfect. Heavy, but my son says he is getting used to it. I worry it will be under his shirt if he ’s on the bike trail, etc and no one will notice. I caution him to place the charm so it will show. Thank you for offering this service. Can ’t imagine why I didn ’t check it out before. Price a little high for R ’s minimum wages, but isn ’t everything?

I really like the idea of a USB embedded in the dogtag This makes for a peace of mind that if I am hospitalized, the medical personnel will know everything they need to know to treat me - and just as important, do me no harm through ignorance of my conditions. One suggestion though engrave the notice about there being a USB with all my medical info on the FRONT of the tag, and in RED, rather than on the back, in hard to see type. Regular dogtags have a name engraved on the front; surely this USB notice could be engraved on the front of the special USB dogtag.....

The tag is very nice. However, it would be helpful if the access code to the OMR could be issued beforehand so that that could go on the tag too, or if you issued the code and automatically engraved it on the tag for those who requested the OMR. Having to carry a card with the code on it sort of defeats the purpose of the tag, doesn ’t it?

I love these products. I got the Dog Tags and Sport ID Bracelet. Great, Great, Great Product There was a small error. I called and the woman on the phone, and she had to check for me to make sure it was OK to correct this error. The error was corrected at NO Cost. I love your customer service and the products.
The only thing I would change is the way your web site checks for errors on spelling. It does get confusing; and that was the error I encountered. The part of Filter is what messed me up. I was thinking Filter meant it would Filter my last name and allow my last name to go through. Well, it did not, and the word Filter was printed instead of my last name of Fielder.
Even with this small problem, I still rate your product a 10 from a scale 1 to 5. Again, wonderful product and customer service. Just fix the spelling issue on your web site and I think your company will be in business for a extremely long time.

I purchased two of the ss dog tags for a 22 yr old female and a 13 yr. old female and they both really liked them. The dog tag is stylish, holds critical information yet is not noticeable to peers as a medical ID which was very important to the 13 yr. old. The time frame from the day I ordered them until I received them was remarkably only 5 days. The ordering was made extremely easy by the short video and pop-ups with reminders and questions. I highly recommend American Medical ID and the dog tags and chains were really high quality. I would recommend the 28 in. chain.

I have worn other dog-tag style ID products and I like yours the best, so far. I must admit, it is a little thicker and weighty than I tend to like, but I compensate by wearing it on a 30 titanium chain, so overall, it doesn ’t weigh that much. What I like best about your product is the amount of information I have been able to get inscribed on the reverse side. I have 7 lines of information, with wife ’s name and phone number, allergy info, 2 of my medical conditions, 4 meds, and my blood type. No other company I have worn tags from (there are 3 other companies) could provide for inscribing that much information.

When I recieved my Medic Alert Dog Tag it didn ’t have my name on it like I thought I ordered. I called American Medical ID and was told I didn’t fill in the line for the name. I was told If I would send it back they would engrave it and send it back at no charge to me. I must say I am greatly pleased with the material,looks and the quality of the purchase. I like the Dog Tag. My only problem with the tag is that it is too heavy. I expected a dog tag half as thick. I also got the little accent tag to make the tag more obvious. I planned on attaching it to the necklace clasp. There is no clasp. So now it falls to the bottom where the dog tag is. There is now way that the little tag will make the necklace more obvious to anyone. Finally, because the little tag hangs with the dog tag it sounds like I have a bell around my neck.

Disappointed in the lettering size. Kept it brief so it might be bigger but I guessed wrong. And the neck chain pulls what little chest hair I have. Bracelet, to small for 7 inched due to clasp design. I accept fault there. Tossed them in a box on the counter until I find a better chain and posible links for the bracelet.

overall the ID is of good quality. the engraving is clear and correct. however the necklace is of lower quality. it contains nickel, which caused a skin rash. i have to wait until i can find and have the money to buy a necklace that does not have nickel in it... until then i have carried the ID in my pocket. also, i paid extra for faster processing and shipping and it took over 3 weeks for the ID to get to me. what upsets me most about that is there is another tag out there some place with my name and personal information on it. i am not pleased with that.

While the tag itself is great, the chain leaves alot to be desired. The chain is uncomfortable and catches quite frequently on my chest hair. Had i known this chain was as uncomfortable as it is i would have chosen one of the others. It will be a while before i can save enough to pay for a new one and i guess ill just have to be irritable till then.

At first it was hard to read the tag due the shine, but when we tilted we could read it clearly. My husbands only disappointment is that the chain is not larger, the diameter of balls on the chain needs to be larger for a man, not sure if we had the option. Other than that we are very pleased.

Solid, quality item. It would be good if you offered an ideal USB or SD disk to compliment your line and make it easy to have medical records portable. I searched and found a durable, water resistant 16 GB USB drive that I plan on holding all of my medical records and wear it on my dog tag chain. I don’t even have to take it off to shower.

The dogtag is fine but the e-med usb dongle needs a click-lock to prevent it from rotating when hanging around the neck, thereby protecting the smart end and the wearer from sharp edges.

The Dog Tag is too heavy. I thought that it would not be noticable in a month or so but, unfortunatley that is not the case.
I previously had the smaller stop sign shaped ID and that seemed to have a lighter weight , possibly even a lighter chain.

I like it. Previously purchased a sterling silver necklace but the charm tarnishes too easily and so one cannot read the engraving unless polished. I purchased this dog tag to replace the silver one. I was a bit disappointed. The lettering is not real visible, you have to have it in just the right light to see the letters and there was a scratch on the front of the tag. The necklace did not have a strong clasp wich I was very upset about as I spent close to 100.00 on the (2) products.

The dog tag is easily tucked in for when I work and easy to keep on when being casual. The charm with it, however, is too small and a complete rip-off.

The young lady who took my order via phone was great Asking questions for me to make decisions i hadn ’t thought of. The engraver? also great. I worried the lines would run together; he turned the tag sideways and it ’s perfect. Heavy, but my son says he is getting used to it. I worry it will be under his shirt if he ’s on the bike trail, etc and no one will notice. I caution him to place the charm so it will show. Thank you for offering this service. Can ’t imagine why I didn ’t check it out before. Price a little high for R ’s minimum wages, but isn ’t everything?

I really like the idea of a USB embedded in the dogtag This makes for a peace of mind that if I am hospitalized, the medical personnel will know everything they need to know to treat me - and just as important, do me no harm through ignorance of my conditions. One suggestion though engrave the notice about there being a USB with all my medical info on the FRONT of the tag, and in RED, rather than on the back, in hard to see type. Regular dogtags have a name engraved on the front; surely this USB notice could be engraved on the front of the special USB dogtag.....

The tag is very nice. However, it would be helpful if the access code to the OMR could be issued beforehand so that that could go on the tag too, or if you issued the code and automatically engraved it on the tag for those who requested the OMR. Having to carry a card with the code on it sort of defeats the purpose of the tag, doesn ’t it?
