Mon Mar 22, 2010: It is nice looking but the band and the plastic clasps are not as heavy duty as the old bracelt he had. With the lighter weight band, the rivets seem rougher on the bottom side so we are worried about it scratching his skin. He just started wearing it last week so we have not been able to tell yet how it is going to work. Overall, just does not seem like it will be as durable as the last one he had.

It still had to be adjusted which left a tail that had a tendency to ’hang out. ’ This was an annoyance for him. I ’ve tacked the tail to the band with needle and thread, but he is still trying to adjust to the feel of the sportband. Great looking band, but I would recommend a smaller scale sportband for young children.

Also, when I ordered the sportband, I was under the impression that more of the camoflauge material would be visible. The plaque does take up most of the space. If it weren ’t for those two things, I would give it a 5.

Without the cover there is no medical information nor any indication that it was a medic alert bracelet. In addition, no where on the bracelet is there a telephone number. I assume you took all of my medical information so it would be available, but how would they know where to call. If it were inside on the paper you provided it would have fallen out when the cover came off. I am beggining to think I made a bad choice.
